The farm "Spagnolina" is a historical courtyard close to the banks of the Po river, along the ancient roman street Palantone ("palantone" are the poles driven into the ground to aid the passage near the river). The buildings lie at the center of a more than 10.000 square meters garden, which hosts over fifty species of trees and shrubs bordering a nursery of nearly 20.000 fir trees in which nest the Eagle Owl and other birds of prey.

Historical court, the "Spagnolina" is a firm near the bank of the Po, placed at the center of a large park/garden with seating areas where you can read or sunbathe. The banks of the big River with it's cycle "Destra Po" are 800m near us. We offer apartments just renovated and furnished in typical historical Ferrara's court.
Where we areWe are located in a quiet and reserved zone of the country. In the municipality of Ferrara, at 800m near the bank of river Po. The geographical location is is particulary happy, just 8 km from the Ferrara North motorway, allows you to reach: Venice, Florence, Padova and Mantova, Comacchio and Ferrara's beaches in just over 1 hour.
The banks of the Great River (the Po) can be seen from the courtyard and the Big Woods of Porporana are a rare example of spontaneous autochthonous flora and fauna, that enclose a path that leads to Ferrara or Bondeno, forbidden to cars.
With our comfortable boat you can easily reach the beautiful Rocca Stellata, formerly a customs house of the Este Duchy. Along the waterway lie the typical fishing mansions which are available for booking. The wild island (on which you can land), the Triangle (a pier for boats or rafts).
