Poggio del Toro Farm is situated on a hill in the heart of Maremma. It has breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area and is perfect for those looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The farm, located in the heart of Maremma, consists of the main house built on two floors and a cottage of 50 m2 that before being restored was a pigsty.
The estate covers over 100 hectares forming a rectangle along a hill whose height varies from 400 to 200 mt dominating the valley east and westwards facing south Montepo castel and further towards Siena (50 km away) . The country is very wild and steep with oak woods( ideal in October for all kind of boleto mushrooms) turning into corn fields and wide pastures. The fields of emerald green in spring become gold yellow early in the summer, after threshing. Crickets and frogs accompany the long summer afternoons and evenings.
