This apartment is named after the large and resistant scissors used in the past to cut the ripe bunches of grapes from the vines during vintage time. This apartment is on the ground floor and thanks to its particular spaciousness and comfort it is suitable for people with disabilities. Facilities are equipped to guarantee a comfortable use; there are two single beds in the bedroom which however can become a double bed on request.

These were the old weighing scales used to weigh products in the local neighbourhood markets. A Provencal style characterises this apartment. The white colour of the wooden furniture creates a fresh contrast with the light blue walls. Small red strawberries on the fabrics and the plate holder that dominates the kitchen generate a cheerful atmosphere. The spacious bathroom is also white and the charming bedroom evokes the tranquillity of the silent and starry night of these hills.

Originally the Arele were grids made of reeds used to dry grapes, fruit and silkworms. The apartment is on the left and is characterised by a contrast of warm and cold colours. The warm yellow colour of hay and the deep light blue walls and fabrics portray the classic summer colours of these hills like the gold colour of corn fields and the light blue colour of the clear August sky. The Provencal style bathroom is comfortable and of a particular turquoise colour.
