La Locanda opened in 2005 to welcome anyone who desires, for work or for pleasure, to discover the region of the Marche. Hidden in the countryside, yet just 3 km from the sea, 6 km from the airport and the A14 freeway exit, and 10 km from the port and Ancona’s central station, our farm is the perfect starting point for getting around the region. See where we’re located.
This 19th-century farmhouse, restructured with passion and love of the land, stands in the countryside around Camerata Picena, on a hill overlooking the sea. After some carefully planned restoration work, 9 rooms have been made available, all well equipped with natural furnishings. The Inn is the beating heart of a 60-hectare estate, where we lovingly cultivate olive groves, vineyards, cereals and other fruits of the earth.

Thanks to its easy-to-reach location, La Locanda is also a perfect starting point for discovering the Marche.
For any reason:
- taking a tour of the local cellars that produce Verdicchio, Lacrima, Rosso Conero and Rosso Piceno.
- discovering our many sites of artistic and religious interest
- wandering through one of the numerous village markets
- making bargain purchases at one of our local factory outlets
- playing sports & getting in touch with nature.
And nearby there’s everything you could ask for: from the sophisticated Conero Golf club just 15 minutes from the Inn – to the marina (Marina Dorica), with a capacity of 1,200 boats, where rentals are available (with or without a skipper), so you can discover our wonderful sea. Also just around the corner is the Falconara Zoo Park, where lots of animals can be seen up close; it’s fun for the whole family.
