Capanna di Porcellina is easily reachable from the North, leaving the A1 (E) at the Siena Nord exit point and following the SS 408 for Gaiole in Chianti, or from the South, leaving the same motorway at the Valdichiana exit, driving along the Siena-Bettolle highway up to the fork for Castelnuovo Berardenga, and there following the SS 482 for Gaiole.
