From Rome - A1 motorway: drive out at Firenze sud and follow the signs for Fiesole; in Fiesole's main square (Piazza Mino) turn left at the roundabout and take the small road behind the cathedral called Via Duprè; drive down to the end of this road (about 3 Kms) and turn right into Via Faentina (road #302); drive for 3 Kms past the towns of Pian di Mugnone and Caldine; just after the end of Caldine (road sign on your left), you'll see a sign on the left marked "LA FABBRICA": turn right into Via Santa Maria Maddalena (total distance from A1 exit about 17 Km).
From Bologna - A1 motorway: drive out at Barberino di Mugello and follow the signs for Borgo S. Lorenzo and Via Bolognese (state road #65); once on Via Bolognese drive past "Cafaggiolo" and at the roundabout (about 2 Km after "Cafaggiolo") follow the sign for Via Faentina (road # 302): drive to the end of this road; at the junction turn right into Via Faentina in the direction of Florence. After about 16 Kms, at the sign LA FABBRICA on your right, turn left into Via Santa Maria Maddalena (distance from A1 exit about 35 Km).
From Florence city centre, A11 motorway or Florence airport (distance 10 to 16 Km depending on where you start): Find Via Bolognese and drive up for about 2/2.5 Kms. When you get to "Il Cionfo" turn right into Via Salviati ( there are signs for the stadium and Fiesole); at the end of this road there is a junction: turn left and drive past Pian di Mugnone and Caldine. At "LA FABBRICA" (sign on the left), turn right into Via Santa Maria Maddalena.
