The agriturismo “l’Uliveto”, is situated at the base of the mountain Majella at about 400 meters of altitude over the National Park of the Majella.
The farm ha san extension of 10 hectare, principally cultivated with olives, as a result we have our own production of oil extra virgin, vineyards, vegetables fields. In the farm we also breed cows, sheep, pork, chickens end rabbits, all of their meat are served in our restaurant.

In our agriturismowe we have a restaurant with room for fifty persons, a garden with a playground for kids, a porch used to serve dinner in the summer time, a tennis court and a small football or soccer field. The agriturismo is located at about 30 Km. from the ski slopes of the Majelletta, 2200 meters of altitude and about 30 Km. from the Adriatic sea, a good base for the many possibile excursions in the Park and to the historic, cultural and religious sites of Guardiagrele, Sulmona, Chieti and the miracle Eucharistical of Lanciano.
It is possibile to visit the “ Caves of Cavallone” and the castle of Roccascalegna, the Roman remains of Juvanum and many other placet. The families of Giangiulio e Nepa awaits you in their agriturismo to make you enjoy a great vacation in family environmentand make you taste the typical abruzzese cuisine.

An holiday at Agriturismo ll'Uliveto is fit to families with children or to young people who love adventure; infact there are several activities to make or places to visit.
The main activity are the excursions in Majella National Park. There are many more or less difficoult tracks with difference in height from 200 to 2400 meters to reach the Amaro Mount, the highest top of Majella’s Mountain at about 2800 meters of altitude. In Piana delle Mele zone, in the heart of National Park you can live adventurous days in the Adventure Park, with tibetan bridges, climbing, ropes, and so on.
At Lama dei Peligni, besides the WWF Oasis with its fauna sighting, there’s an interesting Ethnographic Museum and annexed Vegetable Garden.
At Juvanum, at about 1300 meters of altitudes, there’s a wonderful site dating back to roman age and in the neighbourhood you can find the Cavallone Caves, reachable by a two-seater cable car up on the slope of Majella.
At Gessopalena you can visit Borgovecchio, destroyed by Germans at the end of the 2° World War, being it the site of the notorious group Brigata Majella; goingo on the track, you reach the Medieval Castle of Roccascalegna and then the Lake of Bomba, where you can eventually perform water sports.
Besides there are many places to visit, such as Pescocostanzo, Sulmona, Chieti Guardiagrele ecc. , or religious places like Lanciano with the Church of Miracolo eucaristico and the Cathedral, Manoppello and the Volto Santo Sanctuary, that keeps a sheet with Jesus face.
The Majella i salso rich of Retreats, rosen in great number after the presence of the Hermit S. Pietro da Morrone, famous as Pope Celestino V, the Pope of “big refusal”. There are many other things to do or to visit. We are waiting for you at Agriturismo l'Uliveto, for your next holiday!!.
