The farm "Colle San Giorgio" is located at 535 mtr. above sealevel and offers a wonderful view from the Grans Sasso to the sea.
The 30 hectares of land are cultivated strictly organic. We also keep cows and courtyardanimals like chikens, ducks and goats. The place is ideal for organising trips into the mountains or to the sea (both distant ± 25 Km). Also possible are montainbiking and relaxing walks along the old mountainpaths. You can enjoy several sports like bocce (bowls), archery and troutfishing in Farindola (± 15 km).
Nearby an Archeological excavation has revealed the remains of an Italic Temple: the theme of the book "Il Tempio Italico di Colle San Giorgio" by G. Iaculli. Easy to reach are interesting historical towns likePenne, Atri and Castelli with its famous ceramics. Also the museum of arts and traditions in Picciano; the Natural Oasis Park at Penne; the National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti Della Laga.

We offer you six double rooms (obtained by the recent renovation of an old farmhouse from the 800). One room is equipped for the disabled. All rooms have Tv and private services.
Behind the old farmhouse you can admire a centuries-old millstone; in progress a small exhibition of objects of daily use of ancient traditions.
In our cosy dining-room, guests can enjoy breakfast with homemade jams and local honey, biscuits and cakes and all the typical dishes of the traditional kitchen Abruzzese.
