In one of the most fascinating corners of Tuscany, a few miles from the old medieval village of Scarlino, one of its better conserved secrets is hidden in the green of olive trees: Col di Sasso, a homage to a lifestyle that is nowadays rare to find.
The Estate offers two delightful resorts furnished with taste and elegance: Col di Sasso, located in the higher part of the estate, in the shadow of the age-old trees, has got the most exclusive and isolated position. The cottages and the apartments are expanded around the swimming pool with a view over the tuscan countryside.

Lain between the sea and the hills of the tuscan countryside, you can easily reach within a quarter of an hour the mains localities of the coast like Punta Ala, Follonica, the port of Puntone with its hiring boats and the isolated Cala Violina, aimed for horses and bikes riding. For those who are keen on sports, the Estate proposes in its internal or nearby bikes and quads on hire, tennis, itineraries for horses riders with the possibility to profit of individual boxes. And for the golf addicts, apart the interesting rates for the two golf-courses of Punta Ala and Pelagone, Col di Sasso is carrying out in its internal a putting green and a practise course.
Where we areThe Estate is the ideal point of departure for a visit to the naturalistic oases of which this land is rich, like the Park of Maremma, where you can see the “butteri” working with the long horns cows of Maremma. Like the nature, also the history is everywhere, from the archaeological places of Vetulonia and Roselle, where during summertime concerts and theatrical events are hold in the old marble quarries, to the medieval villages of Massa Marittima and Scarlino, where cultural events are hold in the open air. And for a well-being day, the thermal baths of Saturnia are within one hour by car.
