Where we areThe Case Morello are located in an area known as S. Onofrio, between the small town of Trabia and the village of San Nicola, both renowned for their castles. Trabia, with 9,000 inhabitants, is well known for its ‘gardens’ of red medlars. The town, laid out on geometric lines, was founded in 1634 over a site of Arab origin. After the closure of the tuna fishery of the Prince of Trabia, which made use of local boats, today the town thrives with agricultural, commercial and seaside industries. San Nicola is an ancient fishing village, with a small, well-equipped tourist harbour.
The complex is about one hour from Palermo’s airport and half an hour from Palermo City Centre.
From Case Morello it is easy to reach Monreale, Cefalù, Caccamo and its castle, the ruins of Imera with its important archaeological remains and other places of artistic and natural beauty.
